Acacia, Birch, Beech, Oak & Olive Firewood

Firewood Importer, Firewood Distributor, and Firewood Supplier – Not a Reseller

As a Firewood Importer, Firewood Distributor and Firewood Supplier, we work with producers all around the world. We specialise in firewood imports from Ukraine, Croatia, Egypt and Romania and Unlike other suppliers who claim to be importers, we are able to offer the best possible pricing as we liaise directly with the factories and in many cases, own a controlling stake in them.

What sets us apart is that we ensure each and every one of our suppliers are FSC certified and provide a certificate with each shipment, ensuring we do our part to preserve the forests of the world.

What is the difference between the types?

  • Beech firewood– This has some good heat and flame but tends to give off a fair amount of sparks, making it less suitable for an indoor fireplace and cooking.
  • Birch firewood– Birch gives off good heat but tends to be consumed pretty quickly. The flavour is good, similar to maple which compliments pork and poultry nicely.
  • Oak firewood– Oak is one of the best firewood types. It requires a good deal of seasoning time (as much as 2 years) but then is a good slow burning wood with lots of heat and a small flame. If it is not fully seasoned the smoke can be very dense and bitter. The flavour is a heavy smokey flavour which is good with bold foods like ribs, red meat, pork and heavy game.
  • Olive firewood – Olive is a clean slow-burning wood, known for its unique flavour as well as long burn time. Olive wood is ideal as an Oak replacement when you do not require as much smoke, making it more suitable to outlets with an indoor kitchen.
  • Swedish Logs – Create a brightly burning campfire with these birch log. Our Swedish logs are made from birch logs and come ready to go in small, medium & large sizes.

Who are the FSC and why is it important we are certified?

We are a global not-for-profit organization that sets the standards for what is a responsibly managed forest, both environmentally and socially.

When timber leaves an FSC-certified forest we ensure companies along the supply chain meet our best practice standards also, so that when a product bears the FSC logo, you can be sure it’s been made from responsible sources. In this way, FSC certification helps forests remain thriving environments for generations to come, by helping you make ethical and responsible choices at your local supermarket, bookstore, furniture retailer, and beyond.

We don’t set these standards alone. We consult with our global network of environmental, social, and economic members to ensure that forest standards represent everyone’s needs, from Indigenous Peoples to endangered animal species.
